AI Assistant

Lynx AI is designed to reduce copy/paste work and help you generate clear candidate submissions faster. AI is optional—everything can be done manually if you prefer.

What AI can do in Lynx

  • Extract job role fields from a job description file (title, description, client info, etc.)
  • Extract candidate fields from resume content
  • Format resume text into a clean, readable view on the candidate profile
  • Generate candidate summaries from job description + resume + notes
  • Generate recruiter notes (internal-only) from context

Extracting job role info from a job description

  1. Create or open a job role
  2. Go to Role Settings
  3. Upload the job description file
  4. Click Extract to populate role fields from the file

Extraction is designed to accelerate setup. Review the extracted fields and save changes.

Extracting candidate info from a resume

When adding a candidate, you can upload a resume (or paste resume content). Lynx can extract structured fields and also produce formatted resume text for easy reading in the candidate profile.

  1. Open a role
  2. Click Add Candidate
  3. Upload the resume file or paste resume content
  4. Review extracted fields and save the candidate

Generating a candidate summary

In the candidate profile’s Summary section, you can generate an AI-powered summary or write it manually. The AI can use multiple sources of context such as:

  • Job role description
  • Candidate resume
  • Recruiter notes
  • Any additional context you provide
  1. Open the candidate profile
  2. Go to Summary
  3. Generate content (or type your own)
  4. Save the summary

Generating recruiter notes

Recruiter notes are designed for internal-only context. They are labeled as recruiter-visible only.

  1. Open the candidate profile
  2. Go to Recruiter Notes
  3. Generate notes (or type your own)
  4. Save notes

Best practices

  • Treat AI output as a draft: scan for accuracy, add missing context, and remove anything irrelevant.
  • Provide short, specific additional context when generating summaries (e.g., what the hiring manager cares about).
  • Keep recruiter notes crisp: objections, compensation expectations, availability, and assessment highlights.
