General

What is Lynx?

Lynx is a recruiting communication platform designed to replace email chaos with one shared workspace. Recruiters submit candidates, clients review and decide, and all feedback and messaging stays attached to the right role and profile.

How is Lynx different from an ATS or using email?

Lynx is focused on the agency ↔ client collaboration layer: submissions, feedback, and real-time conversations for each role and candidate. Instead of searching old email threads or splitting context across tools, everything lives in one place.

Who is Lynx for?

Lynx is built for recruiting agencies and their clients who want a clearer, faster, and more accountable process for reviewing candidate submissions and keeping communication organized.

Do clients need to use Lynx too?

Clients get invited to specific job roles so they can review candidates, leave feedback, and make decisions directly on the candidate profile. Their access is scoped to the roles you share with them.

Account & Access

How do I create my workspace in Lynx?

After signing in, you'll create a workspace by entering your name and your company name. Your workspace is where you manage job roles, candidates, and client collaboration.

How do I invite my internal recruiting team?

Go to Settings → Allowed Users and invite teammates by email. Owners and Admins can manage users and settings; Users can access the job roles they’re assigned to.

What roles exist and what do they mean?

Lynx uses workspace roles like Owner, Admin, User, and Contributor. Owners/Admins have broader access; Users typically work in assigned roles; Contributors are often client users with limited access scoped to specific job roles.

Can I invite client users from the workspace settings?

Client users (contributors) are typically invited directly on a job role under Job Role Settings → Hiring Team so their access is scoped correctly.

Workflow

How does the candidate submission process work in Lynx?

Recruiters add a candidate to a role (resume + info + notes). When the recruiter is ready, they move the candidate from “Pending Submission” to “Submitted,” which triggers notifications so the client can review and decide.

Will clients be notified when I submit a candidate?

Yes. When you move a candidate into the “Submitted” stage, Lynx can send an email notification to the role’s notified recipients. You can also resend reminders from the candidate profile until the candidate is approved (moved forward) or rejected.

Is there a place to chat about a role and about specific candidates?

Yes. Lynx includes real-time messaging at the job role level (general discussion) and at the candidate level (candidate-specific discussion), so context stays tied to the right work.

Do I need to use AI to submit candidates?

No. AI is optional. You can manually write candidate summaries and notes, or use AI to generate them from the job description, resume, and recruiter notes.

AI

What can Lynx AI do?

Lynx can extract structured information from resumes and job descriptions, format resume text for easier reading, and help generate recruiter summaries and notes from the available context.

What information does AI use to generate a candidate summary?

Candidate summaries can be generated from sources like the job role description, the candidate’s resume, and recruiter notes (plus any additional context you provide in the AI prompt).
